These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between you (the customer) and our car accessories store (based at 427 Railway Street, Northfleet, DA11 9DU, United Kingdom) when purchasing products—including Car Refrigerators, Tesla Modification Parts, and Car Interior Hanging Decorations—via our website or direct order. By placing an order, you confirm acceptance of these terms.

1. Order Acceptance & Validity

How Orders Work

  • Your order constitutes a request to purchase our products. It does not form a binding contract until we issue a formal order confirmation email (containing your order number, product details, total cost, and delivery address).
  • We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders without liability for the following reasons:
    1. Stock Shortages: If a product (e.g., a specific size of Car Refrigerator, a Tesla Model 3 spoiler) is out of stock. We will notify you within 2 business days of order placement and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
    2. Pricing or Product Errors: If our website displays incorrect pricing (e.g., a £299 Car Refrigerator marked as £99) or inaccurate product details (e.g., mislabeled Tesla model compatibility) due to technical glitches or human error. We will correct the error and offer you the option to reorder at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
    3. Incomplete or Invalid Information: If you provide missing or incorrect details (e.g., no Tesla model/year for modification parts, an invalid delivery address). We will request clarification within 3 business days; if no response is received, we may cancel the order.
    4. Suspected Fraud: If we have reasonable grounds to believe the order is fraudulent (e.g., multiple high-value Car Refrigerator orders to an unconfirmed address, payment with a stolen card). We may cancel the order and report the matter to relevant authorities if necessary.

Order Modifications/Cancellations

  • You may modify or cancel an order within 24 hours of placement by emailing us at boots_tatamis8w@icloud.com with your order number and requested changes (e.g., updating a Tesla part model, canceling a Car Interior Decoration).
  • After 24 hours, modifications or cancellations are subject to our discretion:
    • If the order has not yet been processed (e.g., a custom Tesla decal not yet in production), we may approve the change for a £5 admin fee.
    • If the order is already processed (e.g., a Car Refrigerator packed for shipping) or shipped, you will need to follow our Return & Exchange Policy instead.

2. Product Information & Guarantees

Product Descriptions

  • We strive to provide accurate, detailed descriptions of all products (e.g., Car Refrigerator voltage, Tesla part compatibility, decor material) on our website. However, minor variations may occur that do not constitute a defect:
    • Car Refrigerators: Capacity may vary by ±5% (e.g., a 30L fridge may hold 28.5–31.5L) due to manufacturing tolerances. Color shades of plastic components may differ slightly from website images.
    • Tesla Modification Parts: Finish (e.g., carbon fiber texture, paint sheen) may have subtle differences between batches. Hardware (e.g., screw length) may vary slightly but will always be compatible with the specified Tesla model.
    • Car Interior Hanging Decorations: Natural materials (e.g., leather, wood) may have unique grain or color variations. Beaded decor may have minor differences in bead size or arrangement.
  • If a product differs significantly from its description (e.g., a 12V Car Refrigerator arrives as a 24V model, a Tesla part for Model 3 does not fit), you may return it under our Return & Exchange Policy for a full refund or replacement.

Product Guarantees

  • Fitment Guarantee for Tesla Modification Parts: We guarantee that all Tesla parts will fit the exact model/year listed on the product page. If a part does not fit (and your vehicle matches the listed specifications), we will provide a free return and replacement or full refund—no restocking fee.
  • Electrical Safety Guarantee for Car Refrigerators: All our Car Refrigerators meet UK electrical safety standards (BS EN 61558) and are tested for functionality before shipping. If a fridge fails to operate correctly within 30 days of delivery (due to manufacturing defects), we will replace it free of charge.
  • Material Quality Guarantee for Decor: Car Interior Hanging Decorations are made from durable, non-toxic materials. If decor breaks or deteriorates within 90 days of delivery (due to poor material quality), we will send a replacement free of charge.

3. Payment Terms

Accepted Payment Methods

  • We accept the following payment methods for orders:
    • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
    • Digital wallets (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
    • Klarna (interest-free installment plans for orders over £50—subject to Klarna’s credit approval and terms).

Payment Security

  • All payments are processed via PCI DSS-compliant payment gateways. We never store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details on our servers—all financial data is encrypted end-to-end during transmission.
  • For Klarna payments: You agree to Klarna’s separate terms (including repayment schedules and late fee policies). We are not liable for any issues related to Klarna’s services (e.g., missed payment reminders).

Deposits for Custom Products

  • For custom Tesla Modification Parts (e.g., engraved decals, color-matched bumpers), a 30% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order. This deposit covers the cost of materials and initial manufacturing steps.
  • The remaining 70% of the total cost is due before the custom part is shipped. If you cancel the order after production has started (typically within 2 business days of deposit payment), the deposit will not be refunded. If we cannot fulfill the custom order (e.g., material shortages), the deposit will be fully refunded.

Failed or Late Payments

  • If your payment is declined (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card), we will notify you via email. You must update your payment details within 3 business days; otherwise, your order may be canceled.
  • For Klarna installments: Late payments may result in fees charged by Klarna (not our store). We are not responsible for any credit score impacts due to late Klarna payments.

4. Delivery & Risk Transfer

  • Delivery terms are governed by our separate Shipping Policy, but the following key points apply under these Terms & Conditions:
    • Risk of Damage/Loss: Risk of damage to or loss of the product passes to you once the order is delivered (as confirmed by signature or courier tracking). We are not liable for damage or loss that occurs after delivery (e.g., a Car Refrigerator damaged during at-home installation, a Tesla part stolen from your porch).
    • Delivery Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., courier strikes, severe weather, customs hold-ups for offshore orders). However, we will provide regular updates and assist with tracking or re-delivery where possible (as outlined in our Shipping Policy).
    • Failed Delivery Attempts: If the courier makes three unsuccessful delivery attempts (due to no one being available to sign), the order will be returned to our warehouse. You will be responsible for re-shipping fees (equal to the original shipping cost) plus a £5.99 restocking fee to cover unpacking and repackaging.

5. Liability & Limitations

Our Liability

  • We are liable for:
    1. Death or personal injury caused by our negligence (e.g., a faulty Car Refrigerator causing an electrical fire).
    2. Fraud or misrepresentation (e.g., intentionally misleading you about Tesla part compatibility).
    3. Breach of statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (e.g., supplying a defective product that cannot be repaired or replaced).
  • Our liability is limited to the following cases:
    1. For non-personal injury or property damage: Our total liability will not exceed the total purchase price of the product(s) in question (e.g., if a faulty Tesla part damages your car’s paintwork, we will compensate up to the cost of the part, not the full cost of repainting your car).
    2. For indirect losses: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., missed camping trips due to a delayed Car Refrigerator, loss of use of your Tesla while waiting for a replacement part, or business losses for commercial customers).

Your Liability

  • You are liable for:
    1. Damage to products caused by improper use (e.g., using a 12V Car Refrigerator with a 24V vehicle, installing a Tesla part incorrectly and causing it to break).
    2. Costs incurred by us due to incorrect information you provide (e.g., re-shipping fees for orders sent to the wrong address, return fees for Tesla parts that do not fit because you provided the wrong model year).
    3. Losses we suffer due to your breach of these terms (e.g., storage fees for orders not collected after failed delivery).

6. Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights (e.g., trademarks, copyrights, product designs) related to our products and website belong to our store or our licensed suppliers:
    • You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our product images, descriptions, or logos without our written permission.
    • Tesla-related product names (e.g., “Tesla Model 3 Floor Mats”) are used for descriptive purposes only and do not imply affiliation with Tesla Inc. We are an independent retailer of Tesla-compatible parts.

7. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time (e.g., to reflect new UK regulations, changes to shipping providers, or updates to product guarantees).
  • Changes will be posted on our website with a “Last Revised” date. By continuing to place orders after changes are made, you confirm acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by English and Welsh law. Any disputes arising from your order (e.g., product defects, payment issues) will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
