Return & Exchange Policy

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps to request a return or exchange efficiently:
Step 1: Submit a Request
Email our customer support team at boots_tatamis8w@icloud.com with the following information:
  • Your full name, order number, and delivery address.
  • Detailed product information (e.g., “12V 30L Car Refrigerator,” “Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber Side Skirts,” “Leather Star Car Hanging Charm”).
  • A clear reason for the return/exchange (e.g., “defective fridge motor,” “incorrect Tesla part model,” “change of mind”).
  • Supporting evidence:
  • For defective items: Photos or videos of the defect (e.g., a Car Refrigerator not turning on, a cracked Tesla part).
  • For incorrect items: Photos comparing the received product to your order confirmation (e.g., voltage label on a Car Refrigerator, model number on a Tesla part).
  • For fitment issues: Photos of the Tesla part next to your vehicle (showing why it doesn’t fit) and a copy of your order confirmation (proving your vehicle was listed as compatible).
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and provide a Return Authorization (RA) number if your request is approved. Do not return items without an RA number—unauthorized returns will be rejected.
Step 2: Prepare the Item for Return
Package the item carefully to prevent damage during transit, following these guidelines:
  • Car Refrigerators: Use the original packaging (including foam inserts and box) to protect the unit. Include all accessories (power cables, mounting straps, user manual). Do not ship the fridge with food or drinks inside.
  • Tesla Modification Parts: Repack in the original box with all hardware (screws, brackets, gaskets) and protective wrapping (bubble wrap, foam).
  • Car Interior Hanging Decorations: Place in the original pouch or box, and wrap in tissue paper to avoid scratches. Include any tags or certificates of authenticity.
Attach the RA number label (provided via email) to the outside of the package. Cover any old shipping labels to prevent delivery errors.
Step 3: Arrange Return Shipping
Return shipping methods vary by item size and reason for return:
  • Small Items (Car Interior Hanging Decorations, Small Tesla Parts):
  • Defective/Incorrect Items: We will email a pre-paid return label (via Royal Mail 2nd Class). Drop off the package at your nearest Royal Mail post office within 7 days of receiving the RA number.
  • Change of Mind: You are responsible for return shipping costs (£3.99). Use a tracked service (e.g., Royal Mail Tracked 48) and provide us with the tracking number for reference.
  • Large/Heavy Items (Car Refrigerators, Large Tesla Parts):
  • Defective/Incorrect Items: We will arrange a courier pickup (via DPD) from your address—free of charge. Schedule the pickup within 7 days of RA approval (couriers offer 2-hour time slots for convenience).
  • Change of Mind: A £12.99 pickup fee applies (to cover heavy-item handling costs). We will coordinate the pickup, and the fee will be deducted from your refund.

Items must be received by our warehouse within 10 days of RA approval—delays may affect your eligibility for a refund or exchange.
Refund & Exchange Timelines
Refund Process
  • Inspection: Our team will inspect the returned item within 3 business days of receipt to confirm it meets eligibility criteria (e.g., unused, in original packaging, defective).
  • Refund Calculation:
  • Defective/Incorrect Items: Full refund of the product price + original shipping fee (no deductions).
  • Change of Mind: Refund of the product price minus return shipping/pickup fees (£3.99–£12.99) and a 10% restocking fee (to cover repackaging and inspection costs).
  • Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Credit card or PayPal refunds may take an additional 1–3 business days to appear in your account (processing times vary by financial institution).
Exchange Process
  • Same Product Replacement: For defective or incorrect items, we will ship a replacement product within 3–5 business days of inspecting the return. We use expedited shipping to minimize wait time.
  • Different Product Exchange: If you wish to exchange for a different item (e.g., a larger Car Refrigerator, a different style of decor), we will process the exchange once the returned item is verified. The new product will ship within the standard delivery timeline (3–5 business days for mainland UK). You will be charged the price difference if the new item is more expensive, or receive a partial refund if it is cheaper.
  • Custom Tesla Parts: Exchanges for custom Tesla parts require 7–10 business days for production (same as original lead time) + 3–5 business days for delivery. We will notify you when the custom part enters production.
